“My granddaughter Leah and I are new to the Sault Ste. Marie Down Syndrome Society. We’ve participated in a bowling and pizza night, 2 things Leah loves. We were happy to meet everyone, they were so friendly and we had so much fun together and we look forward to the next event.
This is a safe way for my granddaughter to meet friends like herself and it’s wonderful for their families to socialize together. I don’t know that there would be any other way for that to happen. From what I’ve experienced, this is a wonderful society.”

Another great testimony…..There are so many great benefits to belonging to the Down syndrome society. The Society has connected us with so many wonderful families that have children with Down Syndrome. They offer us support and valuable Resources that we would not have known about it. We enjoy getting together and chatting about our children’s journey. We were afraid of the unknown with Leo’s diagnosis and hearing other people’s stories has really helped us see what a blessing this can be.
